What is Weather-Tite TM Technology?

Weather-Tite TM Technology is BP CANADA’S patented technology that features two sealant bands. It protects your roofing against the roughest weather conditions and provides superior protection, particularly against strong winds. It guarantees peace of mind with the ultimate defense against strong winds and water infiltration.

Is undersheeting required?

We recommend using three-fourths (3/4) inch Marine Plywood as undersheet decking.

Can I install it over an existing metal roof?

Yes. Depending on the condition of your existing roof, we may retrofit your new Asphalt Shingles roof over your existing roof, thereby saving dismantling costs. The first step will be to conduct a site visit to see the feasibility of retrofitting the existing roof.
