FAQ
What is the composition of FEROOF roof tiles?
All FEROOF roofing products start with a base of quality aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel to provide outstanding corrosion resistance. Several layers of acrylic resin coating and epoxy primers are then applied to both sides of the galvanized steel sheet to add further protection and reinforcement. Lastly, a top coating of natural stone granules offer vivid colors and distinctive textures to beautify the roof tiles.
Can I install FEROOF over my existing roof?
Yes. Because FEROOF tiles are lightweight and easy-to-install, it is possible to install it over your existing metal roof, thereby saving dismantling costs. The first step would be to conduct a site visit to check the condition of your existing roof.
Are the roofs noisy when it rains?
Although it will never be sound-proof, FEROOF tiles perform better than longspan metal roofing when there is rain due to the sound-absorbing cushion of granular stone coating.
